Laser-Focused Approach to Precision

Picture that laser pointer you got from a flea market that one time. In the clear plastic clamshell with yellow foam poorly holding all the various replaceable tips in, ones with photos of dinosaurs, trucks, triangles, stars, and more (did I take you on a trip down memory lane?). We have one just like that, but bigger. 

Okay, so it’s not at all like that. BUT, it is a laser. A beam of light cutting through metal like a hot knife through butter—that’s essentially how our laser table works. Because it’s so precise, we can reduce wasted materials and speed up the entire production process. It also means that each piece we cut fits the way it’s supposed to, right from the start. Whether we’re working on large-scale orders or quick-turnaround prototypes (the biggest benefit of bringing more in- house!) , the laser table lets us handle it all with confidence.

Pressing Forward with the Press Brake (bad puns, I know)

The second part of our process is bending and forming metal, which is where the press brake comes in. This is our newest toy, and MAN are we excited. It's 12’ long, uses laser alignment, CNC programs to perfectly control every bend, it's unreal how capable this thing is. By bringing this advanced system in house, we can bend our laser cut sheets of MOLLE panels and brackets into complex forms while keeping angles accurate. Not only does this reduce mistakes, but it also gives us the freedom to get more creative with our designs.

Assembly is the final step where everything comes together, and we believe in using the right tools for the job. Updating our assembly gear allows our team to work more efficiently and maintain the consistent quality you expect from us. These tools help keep mistakes to a minimum, speed up production, and make the whole process smoother—especially when we’re juggling multiple projects at once.

Empowering the People Behind the Machines

All the fancy equipment in the world doesn’t mean much if the team using it isn’t well-prepared. That’s why training is a huge part of our approach. We invest in ongoing education and skill-building so that everyone knows how to get the most out of our new  tools. When we bring people onto the team, we are investing in them. Training takes time, but for those that are a good fit, we love to promote from within and put the right people in the right places. This not only helps us produce top-quality work, but it also fosters a sense of pride and ownership within our team.
