A few months ago Matt began entertaining the idea of creating a new line of our MOLLE Tech Plates, with the specific objective of securing smaller, lighter-duty gear. Whether that's your EDC (every day carry), the essentials in your glovebox or the items you use most in your office or shop, this modular tool is a blank canvas for you to add more practical organization to your life!

Like many spacers and components in our existing kits, the panel is made of a glass fiber-reinforced nylon composite, which is shockingly lightweight and rugged. This is the first of many sizes in this product line, and the panel measures 5.25 x 7 inches, making it the perfect size for many applications - most being too light-duty and casual to put our steel line of Universal MOLLE Tech Plates to use. Those rigid steel tech plates are ideal for mounting heavier, bulkier gear and equipment wherever needed, but outside our five different sizes of them, we've seen a bunch of opportunities for a smaller, lightweight and transportable Composite MOLLE Tech Plate. Compatible with small-diameter shock cord and up to 1" velcro or nylon strapping, there are countless possibilities when it comes to securing your gear.

We're no strangers to the term EDC - no, not the festival of concussive bass music and drugs - your every day carry. The essential items you keep on your person day-in and day-out that you don't leave the house without for some reason... This could range from your wallet, phone and keys to your wallet, phone, keys, multi-tool, pens, radio, sidearm, extra magazine and lip balm... who knows. What you keep on you is YOUR business, and how you keep it organized throughout the day is what we do best. Whether tossing essentials in a backpack, briefcase, gym bag or truck for the day, we look at this new Composite MOLLE Panel as a headquarters for your most important light-duty gear.

In this Composite MOLLE Panel kit we are including a hardware kit with composite MOLLE nuts and standoff spacers so you can mount the panel to a rigid surface and still have space behind it to secure items. The hardware kit is also injection-molded and comes on the sprue, partially to keep things easy and organized on our end, but mostly for a fun, interactive feel (remember when we were kids running around with cap guns breaking off rounds?)

We will most likely offer more composite hardware kit options in the near future, opening up even more modular mounting opportunities with this system. We can't wait to see how you guys use them!

Create a lightweight mounting frame for seatback. Use these panels as modular components that can be swapped out. I have a 2024 Trailhunter, very modified, that I use exclusively for Search & Rescue. Have been patiently awaiting a seatback molle panel to mount an internal fire extinguisher and some other smaller gear – still need to use the back seat for team transport.

Your new composite Molle racks will open a lot of interest in the Adventure Bike World. Will be watching for some additional sizes in the future.

Nice to see these in the composite panel. The tiny bit of flex is kinda nice when you are trying to wrangle straps and bungees etc. Size wise will be easier to find what works for your vehicle/place. And the composite panels still look okay after being cut and you don’t have to use a file and paint like with the steel plates. I will definitely try them out. I could put my Element fire extinguisher (expensive but so worth it), a high powered flashlight, and maybe run the charger for it to charge there while mounted, and maybe a multi tool and/or my spare tire key piece so I can wrench it down. Or my lockable hitch pin. Just a few smallish things I would need on the roadside and want to be able to access first and easily. Love the stuff your company puts out. The generic stuff is nice since I have an old truck that doesn’t have the same dimensions as all the new trucks do. I can piece together what I need from the general items you sell. It is always super high quality.

Here’s an idea: create spacer option with neodymium magnets so they can be stuck to a metal surface, ie. safe or workbench.
