Ford Bronco License Plate Mount

Since the very first images surfaced showing the awful placement of the license plate from the factory, we knew that we needed a robust but adjustable solution that would allow people to mount the license plate on their 2021 Bronco. To do so, we used our Big Bend, which features a standard plastic bumper along with our Wildtrak, which features the OEM modular steel bumper.

License Plate Mount Design

We got to work with our 3D scanner, collecting data from the stock bumper. We found mounting points on each that would work well and offer some adjustability. From there, we designed concepts, prototyped and tested. Based on feedback from those testers and our own vehicle, we made revisions and went to production!

Bronco Plastic Bumper

For the Ford Bronco standard plastic bumper, the license plate relocation kit attached to a single large bolt near the front tow hook on either side of the vehicle. This allows for a bit of rotational adjustment. The mount is two pieces to allow for a huge range of mounting locations based on the accessories that you intend to use.

Bronco Modular Steel Bumper

The license plate relocation kit for the Ford Bronco modular steel bumper mounts to two bolts on the inside of the passenger side opening of the front bumper. This bracket angle can be adjusted using the slots in the mounting bracket. The license plate mounting bracket is then attached to that using any of the available slots, which gives a great amount of adjustability.

Both of these kits feature 12ga steel, laser cut and CNC formed for a perfect fit every time. To make installation as quick and simple as possible, we install threaded inserts everywhere a nut would otherwise be needed. Brackets feature a durable texture black powdercoat and of course, all hardware is stainless steel with a black oxide coating.
