It seems that Ford made license plate location an afterthought because of regulation. As a result, the license plate is mounted squarely in the middle of the new Bronco grill, killing the signature look.

BuiltRight has the solution. Available for both the OEM standard plastic bumper and the OEM modular steel bumper, the Bronco License Plate Relocation Kit offers users a number of mounting locations which move the license plate out of the grill area and into a less obtrusive location. Installation takes just a few minutes with basic hand tools.

Fitment:

Ford Bronco 2dr and 4dr (2021+) equipped with OEM modular steel bumper

Fitment Notes: This bracket was designed and tested using modular and plastic bumpers, with and without sensors, because we want to ensure maximum compatibility. But, please consider your other aftermarket equipment when making a decision about whether or not this will work for you.

We've worked hard to accommodate as much as possible but please be sure to check our product photos for possible mounting locations to determine whether or not the mount will block any other accessories that you intend to use.

Installation

Installation of the BuiltRight Bronco License Plate Mount on the 2021+ Ford Bronco requires a few simple tools. On the OEM steel modular bumper, the mounting bracket is secured to the bumper in two possible locations.

The plate mounting bracket is then attached to the bumper mounting bracket through one of it's many slotted features. This allows for additional adjustability inexact plate location, which will help accommodate potential future accessories.

Our License Plate Relocation Kits are manufactured from 12ga steel that's zinc plated and powder coating for corrosion resistance. Composite parts, if applicable, are injection molded from a glass fiber reinforced nylon.

Must have for the Bronco modular steel bumper

The Bronco modular steel bumper does not provide for a way to mount a front license plate. The dealer wanted to drill holes in the bumper. Nope! This relocation bracket is perfect and the mounting location does not block the intercooler. Thanks BuiltRight!

Easy install, great quality, great customer service

Realized shortly after I ordered that I ordered for the plastic bumper instead of modular. As easy as an email to get that fixed. Once it arrived I had to get the tools to do the install. I'm not a handy person but the install video made it clear that this was something even I could do. And indeed, getting the right tools was quite literally the hardest part. Very impressed by the product and the company in general. 10/10 would recommend.

Bronco Modular Bumper License Plate Frame

Original product started to corrode. One simple email to builtright and they stated that the coating process has changed and shipped me a new product with no questions asked which I received within a week. Unbelievable customer service.

Best License Plate Holder

Quality build material, easy to install, and best adjustable look then other products out there. Once installed, it was sturdy and I am not worried about it accidentally falling off in the high winds of the Texas panhandle. Side note, the washers are for various LP hole diameters. I didn't need them for the Texas plates, but I ended up using them anyway for extra support.
