Prepare
Make your Bed
Keep your most important gear organized and out of the way for when life throws you a curveball, whether that's an adventurous 'detour' or an unexpected trip to Costco.
The term MOLLE has become a bit of a buzzword in recent years and many imitation products have latched onto it, simply cutting square or rectangles into their products. The BuiltRight 'Block and Slot' pattern offers slotted features, designed for use with common 1/4" mounting hardware in addition to correct MIL-SPEC MOLLE/PALS features. Finally, the BuiltRight MOLLE Nuts (sold separately) offer an additional mounting location with a 1/4-20 threaded hole for easy installation.
Quality
Built Right, Right Here
Each Bedside Rack Panel is manufactured using high-grade 1/8" thick steel plate and is CNC cut and formed for perfect fit every time. All panels are finished with a durable texture black powdercoat for a factory look and feel.
BuiltRight is an engineering company before all else and we're obsessed with great mechanical design. Each product has a story of ideas, innovation and iteration until it's just right.
Your Bedside Rack System started as a 3D scan of multiple truck beds, in order to understand the manufacturing tolerances that Ford, GM, etc hold themselves to. We then use that data along with CAD files provided by our OEM partners to design parts that will fit your truck perfectly.
Finally, we test those parts using finite element analysis on the computer before sending them out to our network of product testers around the world. Real-world testing happens in Baja, on ranches and jobsites across the country and on the icy, salty roads from the Midwest to the Northeast.

Pretty darn sturdy, just take your time
Seems to be great quality, have had them installed for about a month have have done 2 off road trips since(plus a lot of on pavement miles). Haven't budged Did need to cut some of the panel to work with the clamps on my RetraxOneXR. Sprayed rust inhibiter paint like I've seen others do. Also needed to a cut a hole for my 5th wheel connector. The instructions could've been better, we had to use written, the video, and some guessing. I do wish the hardware was labeled and a few extra rivnuts were included. That's the only reason it's 4☆ and not 5. But definitely grab yourself a set of these. I'm extremely happy with the product and the customer support.
Ram 2500 bedside rack system
I absolutely love these bedside racks… I’m pretty handy and the install was straight forward … customer service at builtright has been amazing I had a few issues and they were right on top of helping me
Well built - easy install
The overall installation process was very simple. It helped to watch the great How To videos that Matt put together and are available on the BRI website. I had to make slight mods to mine to work with my 2021 Ram Power Wagon to allow for access to the power outlet in the bed of the truck, so a grinder and can of spray paint made quick work of it. The system is very secure and helps keep the bed well organized.
Great solid rack panels.
I opened the boxes, and try to identifying that which piece goes where, but there is no marking on panels like rear left or front right, I suggest the team if they just label the panel, that will be so helpful , otherwise installation take 15 min. Per panel. And it’s so solid I didn’t expect that. Thank you guys for great work.
Great Product and Works With The Softopper
Installation was straight forward and the panels are very well built. I'm extremely happy with they way they mounted and the way they look. A few recommendations: If you can mount your accessories (quick fist, etc) before you make the final install on the bed it will make your life easier. The nuts can be a challenge to get back there once its installed. If you have the factory 5th wheel plug on the left side of your bed... it will cover it up and make it unusable without modifying the rack. I have the Softopper installed and the rack interfered with the forward most hold down bracket on the topper. Added a piece of Trex to the underside of the top rail of the bed and a longer bolt in the topper bracket and it works great. Attached are some pictures. Overall, it's great and I will be ordering another one for the other side. Thanks Builtright!!
Bedside rack system 2018 Ram 2500 power wagon
Just installed it, the install wasn't too bad there are a couple of changes that I would do to make the install a little easier. I would glue or tack weld the little spacers to the backside of the mounting brackets and I would make the bed light switch more accessible by opening up the rack a little in that area. It is a little light trying to get your finger in there to turn the lights on or off. I realize this is the prototype and really like the unlimited options I now have with the rack system. Overall a great product. One other thing i do wish that these were more universal in the mounting locations meaning I wish that I could have used the front rack in the spot on the rear back location. I see myself using 2 back racks more than a rack in the front. (having the bed led lights precluded me from using the front rack in the place of the the rear rack, the rack wasn't cut out to accept the led light)
