A Traffic Light That Actually Matters

From the outside, the BuiltRight warehouse looks smooth. Orders moving, people focused, everything dialed.

But that’s not always what the rest of the business feels.

When customer service is getting slammed or orders start stacking up, that pressure doesn’t always make it out to the floor. And that gap creates a problem. You can’t respond to urgency you don’t feel.

So the solution was simple.  Weird, but simple (but thats how we do things) A real traffic light, hanging in the warehouse.

Green means keep it rolling. Yellow means pay attention. Red means we’ve got a problem to solve.

No dashboards. No meetings. Just a signal everyone understands instantly.

With a little wiring and a remote control setup, the customer service team can now change that light from anywhere. When things get hectic, the whole team feels it. When things are smooth, that’s visible too.

It’s a small project, but it solves a real problem. Take a look at the project below.
