What Are MOLLE Pouches?
We developed our MOLLE Pouches to secure smaller gear in your rig and interface perfectly with all MOLLE/PALS webbing - whether you're mounting pouches to our rigid metal MOLLE racks or our soft textile Universal MOLLE Tech Panels.
BuiltRight MOLLE Pouches are manufactured using high quality Cordura materials and a mix of hand sewing and automated processes for accuracy, repeatability and cost efficiency. Made of splash resistant 800d TPU and genuine YKK zippers, the result is a durable product that functions perfectly and will last a lifetime.
We offer these rugged pouches in two sizes, Large (13"x10") and Small (6"x10"). We sell them individually and in 3pc kits comprised of 2 Smalls and 1 Large. We also include them in many of our BuiltRight Stage Kits. Frequently we see customers bundling these pouches with our 6pc MOLLE Tech Panel Kit for maximum universal interior storage.
When it comes to installing your MOLLE Pouches, you can choose to mount them securely by weaving the straps multiple times before snapping them, which takes a little more time - or you can mount them casually, if you plan on removing them frequently or reconfiguring your MOLLE panels in the near future. The level of 'strap weaving' you choose might also need to be connected to what you plan on putting in your pouch, and where you plan on putting the pouch.
For heavier items going into a pouch mounted at a down-ward facing angle, such as under the back seats in an F-150, we recommend weaving the pouch straps through the MOLLE/PALS pattern a few times before securing the snaps at the bottom. When mounting a pouch for lighter weight essentials, at a more upright angle, or only temporarily - weaving the straps through the MOLLE/PALS pattern just once or twice should be fine. But we leave this decision up to you based on your own gear mounting situation.
