Let's Talk Mountech Phone Holders
There are thousands of options for mounting phones and similar devices in a vehicle... so why on earth did we decide to go down the painstaking process of developing our own? It's simple really, none of the device mounting solutions we ever used or sold were fully complaint or frustration-free. There was always a gripe or discussions about improving both the operation and installation of these phone holders, so we set out on a mission to solve that with Mountech.
We're perfectionists here at BuiltRight (some would probably call us anal), and after only one year and a dozen prototypes we're in full swing production of Mountech device holders and balls/arms, providing the most rugged, premium solutions available on the market today. Consisting of billet CNC machined aluminum anodized grey and robust, high durometer rubber on the balls, the entire Mountech system is ridiculously sturdy and will not budge when used and abused.
The third notch. Why do we always highlight the third notch in our arms? Because it's absolutely essential to having full, unrestricted control of which angle you're mounting and ultimately viewing your devices. While two notches on a mounting arm can certainly do the job, when you're trying to mount a radio, GPS, radar detector, dash cam and two cell phones on your dash board, every centimeter of space and angle of adjustability counts.
Even simply being able to tilt devices back due to sun glare on a long road trip is enough of a reason to warrant needing another notch providing further adjustability. Having lived with many terrible ball and socket phone mounts, suction cup mounts, cradle mounts, vent mounts, magnetic mounts... using Mountech's Phone Mount bolted to a BuiltRight Dash Mount is a truly refreshing experience.
When it comes to outfitting your vehicle, if you demand the highest quality and most reliable equipment - especially for securing valuable essentials hands-free and heads-up, look no further than Mountech's Device Mounting Components and Bundles secured to our Dash Mounts.
