The Design Process
BuiltRight is an engineering company before all else and we're obsessed with great mechanical design. Each product has a story of ideas, innovation and iteration until it's just right.
Each dash mount design begins with 3D scanning of the truck and dash components. We check those scans against OEM CAD models to be safe and then design a mount that fits perfectly, functions well and blends in with the dash of the vehicle. Our goal is to add function to your dash, not an eyesore.
We examine the rigidity of the dash and the amount of deflection each Dash Mount sees during normal and extreme use with a goal of reducing movement and above all else, ensuring that in the event of an accident, your device stays within reach.

This thing is a beast. I have two super heavy duty, dual arm, RAM Mounts holding a MagSafe Dock for my iPhone 12 Pro Max on the left and my iPad Pro 12.9” on the right side. The total setup weighs probably about 5lbs and it’s super stable for being in an F-450 constantly towing 40ft behind me. It takes serious abuse on some of these rough highways and I expect it to be the last thing that breaks. 70k miles with it so far! I’ll continue purchasing your products for anything I get in the future!

Canada2023 SUPER DUTY DASH MOUNT
Thanks to Matt and the BuiltRight crew for my new 2023 SUPER DUTY DASH MOUNT PRO (Part # 104058) Getting the tray to come out of the 2023 was much more difficult than on my 2020,2021, 2022. There are many more plastic tabs with the little green clips on the 2023. 6 of the green clips fall down into the back of the dash somewhere. Overall, I am very pleased with the new design. I much prefer the 2 piece design of the Part # 104058 versus the one piece Part #104012

CanadaDash Mount | Ford Super Duty F-350 Tremor Platinum (2023) Pro (add $20)
Experience was great with Builtright. I received my product today (Nov 13-2023). My biggest surprise was how much more difficult it was to remove the tray on 2023 compared to the 2022. There are a LOT more of the black tabs with the little green clips and 6 of the green clips that attach to the black tabs fell off and 4 of black tabs got damaged but I was still able to re-install the tray and it is really solid especially with the “Pro Version” of the Dash Mount 2023 F350 Platinum Part # 104058. Overall, I am very pleased with the new mount. I really like the fact it is a 2 piece mount now vs the smaller 1 piece I had in my 2020,2021, 2022. Juts have to remove 5 screws to attach new Ram Ball mounts and put it back on.

I was disappointed when I got my 2023 SD to see that the dash was redesigned and Builtright had nothing for me. UNTIL NOW! Outstanding fit/finish and easy installation. Thank you!

Excited to see this
I put a ‘22 dash mount in my ‘23 and I’m making it work. I have an iPhone in a RAM Mounts MagSafe cradle and my iPad Pro 12.9” in a RAM Mount GDSTech Intelliskin cooling mount with a double arm extension. It’s a heavy dash setup and it’s a little wobbly. Looking forward to making it more stable with the new release! Hopefully it’s a wider base than the one for the 12” display 22 model
