One of the ways that we keep our License Plate Relocation Kits affordable is to use the same 'backing plate' on all of them. This plate offers a large number of slots and adjustment but it's important to understand that depending on your vehicle, that adjustment may be limited.

Many new vehicles feature ultrasonic proximity sensors which help with parking and obstacle avoidance. Each of our kits is designed and tested with this in mind. Installation may require some care to ensure that sensors aren't obstructed, but there will always be a location where there is no issue. I had installed a different offset license plate holder from a different vendor. The front bumper sensors kept going off. I decided to go a different direction and purchased this product from builtright. It was a great decision and solved my issue with the sensors going off. Great buy!! I would highly recommend

United StatesGreat product, but instructions need to take into account 2WD trucks
Great product, but the instructions to install are specific to only 4WD trucks since they have tow hooks. I have a 2WD, which does not. It has a plastic piece in the hole where the tow hooks would be on a 4WD. It will fit, since it bolts to holes in the bumper unlike other kits that bolt to the tow hook itself. To install, you remove the plastic to the left or right of the intercooler opening as shown in the video. Inside that hole, where the video just finds the two empty holes above the tow hook, there are two 5.5mm head bolts. Undo those bolts and you can take off the plastic cover where the tow hook would be on a 4WD truck. Install from there is the same as 4WD. However, you're left with a hole on the side where you installed it, so I'm going to modify the plastic cover to account for the bracket that attaches to the bumper itself.

Installed per video. Couple of suggestions: Move frame on the bracket to center of vehicle as much as possible. And lower holes in frame. Also, use a 1/4 drive on a swivel from the top is a lot easier than open end wrench.
