Hey Doug, Are you trying to install this under the OEM latch mechanism? If so, it's the incorrect method of installation, it sits on top of the mechanism, slides in form the side and our branding should still be visible. Resources below, let me know if you are still having issues. https://youtu.be/ryOqm4Ijdyg https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0452/5555/7278/files/F150_Rear_Seat_Release_Install_Guide.pdf?v=1599459497 -Matt Homes Customer Service Manager Builtrightind.com

Well built product
Well-designed and well-built product, made in the USA, perfect combination. Installed in seconds with 2 screws - need a T30 torx bit to do the install.

Latch attachment review
It’s exactly what I needed. I kept my jumper cables and wet weather gear underneath the back seats. I would then move them to the front passenger seat when I put the back seats up to give our German shepherd a large space to use. Now I have the gear and cables behind the rear seats.

Solid!
Great..installed with video help

Good design, improved from 2020. Watch the install video.
The video helped with the explanation of the catch bar positioning. Installation worked perfectly for me first time, no adjustments. However, the fiberglass reinforced composite pull tab did not snap-fit into place on my 2023 Ford latch release. It just slid over the latch release pin. Maybe the pull tab mold is worn or Ford slightly changed the size of the pin.

Great idea except…
Great idea and install was super easy. Follow Matt’s video and you can’t go wrong. I installed this on my 2022 F350 Lariat Super Crew dually and discovered there’s not much space back there with the factory B&O sound system. The subwoofer takes up a lot of space as does the amp. I guess I should have looked before buying. Oh well, hope this helps someone else.

Hey Mike, Yes, if you have the OEM sub and amp, there isn't a ton of real estate left over to take advantage of. If you would like to return the rear seat release, I can make that happen. Just say the word! -Matt Homes Customer Service Manager Builtrightind.com

Hidden F150 storage latch release
This piece of kit is outstanding. Well engineered, easy to install using OEM hardware and effective. Did I say effective? And the price is reasonable. This is the best piece of kit I have bought in a long time. US made, precision is everything. Well done. I will be buying more from these professionals for my F150. Proudly displaying their sticker on my toolbox.

proper engineering
as per description, nice!
