Hey Kevin! The latch bar is intended to slide up and down, it moves up when the seat bottom is lifted, as the whole seat pivots away from the wall. If youre just dropping the seat back, the bar should always remain about 3/4" from the bottom of the track, it doesnt need to move from there. Reach out to customer service if youre still having issues!
I just installed your product on my 2024 F450 Crew Cab. Easy enough, but the latch bar slides up and down with no way to secure it. You must slide the cab-mounted latch bar up and down until it is just right every time you unlatch and try to relatch the seat. The seat side is simple as in your video. I do not have a solution for the cab-mounted strike side that freely up and down.
Bryan, its a little tougher on the supercab, but you can fish down there with a wrench or a coat hanger with a hook on the end, its in the same spot as mentioned in this video! It might help to get in the bed and poke your head through the sliding rear window to get a better view, if you have one!
