The BuiltRight Industries Story

Welcome! We’ll keep this brief, as it feels strangely formal and that isn't really our style, but we wanted to be sure that we offered a proper introduction.

“The birth of BuiltRight Industries dates back to the late 1980’s. As a child, my mother (also a mechanical engineer) gave me household appliances instead of LEGOs and Lincoln logs. I’d disassemble them using basic hand tools and distribute the parts haphazardly throughout the house. It wasn’t until years later that I became interested in also reassembling them.

In the decades since, I’ve been fascinated with understanding exactly how things work and have funneled that interest and an engineering background into a passion for motorsports. Following a short stint designing weapons systems for the Department of Defense, I made the decision to abandon what was shaping up to be a promising career in order to pursue my true passion for automotive and off-road technology.” – Founder

The official founding of BuiltRight Industries represents the melding of a unique collection of skills and experiences. It’s our hope and intention that our crazy group of gear heads will earn a spot as a well-respected leader in off-road engineering and technology.
