Rear Seat Back Storage Panel | Ford F-150 & Raptor (2015-2024) , F-250/350 (2017-2024)
Product #104027
Description
If the back seat of your truck is anything like most, you’ve probably got a healthy mix of junk and ‘important’ things rolling around below the rear seats. What the BuiltRight Seat Back Storage Panel aims to do is provide a rigid mounting location for your most critical items. This may be the wiring for your CB radio system, or a flashlight, first aid kit and fire extinguisher. In any case, we’ll help keep your gear where you put it.
Note: This panel fits the passenger side only.
Fitment:
- Ford F-150 & Raptor (2015-2024)
- Ford Super Duty F-250/350/450/550 (2017-2024)
Engineering
This panel is designed to mount behind the rear passenger seat of your F-series truck, replacing the factory jack but providing a location to mount equipment/gear/tools. Each piece is laser cut from 16ga mild steel and then finished with a durable texture black powdercoat.
Fitment:
- Ford F-150 & Raptor (2015-2024)
- Ford Super Duty F-250/350 (2017-2024)
Fitment Note: Factory jack must be relocated from behind the rear passenger seat.
Install
The support bracket has integrated threaded inserts to make installation a breeze. Installation requires a 12mm socket, 5/32 Allen wrench and about 10min. Installation involves lowering the seat back, removing the factory jack and tool kit and then loosening the bolt that holds the seat latch loop to the cab wall. With that bolt, slip the included bracket under the seat latch loop. This may require some slight trimming of the insulation against the cab wall. With that bracket in place, you can then position the seat back panel, sliding it over the two pegs on the floor and then to the side, locking the lower portion in place. Finally, use the included screws to attach the top of the panel to the previously installed bracket.
