One of the ways that we keep our License Plate Relocation Kits affordable is to use the same 'backing plate' on all of them. This plate offers a large number of slots and adjustment but it's important to understand that depending on your vehicle, that adjustment may be limited.

Installation may require some care to ensure that sensors aren't obstructed, but there will always be a location where there is no issue. Great sturdy product made of solid materials and the finish is excellent. The adjustability of the mount is also great as you can pivot and change the mounting height as well to suit your needs. Only real complaint is the fastening hardware. It would be nice if this was a chromate or other black finish hardware, and while the bolts are long enough that they are easy to install, they do protrude under the bumper by around 1/2". I took my bolts off and installed them "upside down" with the bolt head under the bumper and the nyloc hardware behind the plastic trim piece. This is a much cleaner install and would be better still if the hardware was a little shorter and had a black finish. Lastly, I added a small foam patch to the back of the plate holder to keep the mount from vibrating against the black plastic trim. I wanted the plate as close to the bumper as possible, and even though the mount is very stiff, with wind + vibration it certainly would have left a mark against the trim piece.

I was initially worried I wouldn't be able to install product. The video instructions were diicult to see. However once I began the installation it was pretty easy. I liked the sturdiness and steel material that was used. It looks sharp on my 2021 Ford F150!
