Built Right, Right Here
Our Dash Mounts are manufactured from 12ga steel plate that's CNC cut and formed right here in the US. We don't cut corners to save money or compromise to save time. We build things right and we stand behind them.
BuiltRight is an engineering company before all else and we're obsessed with great mechanical design. Each product has a story of ideas, innovation and iteration until it's just right.
Each dash mount design begins with 3D scanning of the truck and dash components. We check those scans against OEM CAD models to be safe and then design a mount that fits perfectly, functions well and blends in with the dash of the vehicle. Our goal is to add function to your dash, not an eyesore.
We examine the rigidity of the dash and the amount of deflection each Dash Mount sees during normal and extreme use with a goal of reducing movement and above all else, ensuring that in the event of an accident, your device stays within reach.
Mike B. has been a great BuiltRight customer for years, so when he needed to securely mount his phone and GPS system in the Raptor, he knew who to call. In September of 2021, he rolled his truck and had this to say:
"I want to take this to thank Matt at BuiltRight Industries and RAM Mounts for their amazing products. My dash mount held my iPhone and iPad perfectly in place and was easy to locate in this roll over event. All the items attached to the bed racks were held in place. Securing items in the cab the best you can is a huge recommendation after this event, stuff goes flying everywhere. It happens quick and it’s never planned."
Industry-best Customer Support
Bought this support plate to go with my dash mount and between the two it is a solid setup! High quality material the holes line up perfectly.
Very good quality and very easy to install
Exceptional and a must need if you buy a mount
Had to modify to make it work
It's a flat piece of metal, most likely cut out on a water jet. Pretty simple, but it wouldn't fit because of two plastic nubs that were in the way. I had to grind part of it out of the way to fit. Next time I'll just make my own.
Hey Kendal, No grinding should have been required to mount this bracket up as long as we sent you the correct one and you ordered the correct one for your truck. Please reach out to us before you modify the product or your truck, chances are its the improper item or your not flowing the intended installation procedure. -Matt Homes Customer Service Manager Builtrightind.com
You really don't need it.
Like they say, you really don't need it for normal use . But if you want to mount some items that are overweight, say like, I don't know, a 32 inch monitor for your backup camera, this thing will hold it tight. In my 2015 F150, there is only one position that it will fit. So mark your drill hole using the plate, not the bracket it is supporting. Well over engineered, solid, and over **** in most installs.
I'm really enjoying the bracket. I was kinda disappointed that I had to go to another website to buy the phone holder because you were sold out.
Hey Walt, Apologies for that, we're in a transitional state to our one cell phone and device mount solutions. We should have them ready in about a week or two. Check out our sister company. https://mountechusa.com/ -Matt Homes Customer Service Manager Builtrightind.com
Easy, and well worth the addition cost. Recommend highly to purchase with the mounting system.
Yes—it is needed
Very easy to install. Storage dash tray on my f150 does not have built in speaker leaving tray longer and rather flimsy. This fixed it perfectly
I highly recommend this piece
I know you might not see the need for this now, but if you're hanging a phone, tablet, & gps from your dash mount, a couple of years from now you'll be glad you used this support plate. Everything fit just as it should, like it was builtrite.
