Offers you access to behind both seats
Simple install, if you aren't mechanically inclined, watch the YouTube video on the install. Took me all of 8 minutes, including gathering tools. The hardest part is locating the release tab with a box end wrench to initially release the seatback. Good thing, this will be the last time you'll be needing that box end wrench. Play close attention to how the seat is oriented when you begin, as you'll need to match it up to re-latch the seatback when install is complete. Not the end of the world if you need to adjust the latch slider. Just my 2 cents.
Pull strap got hung up in latch on the second use.
Pull strap got hung up in latch on the second use. Was a son of a gun to get the latch released. Will have to remember to hold the strap while using. Strap needs to be held in position further up the toward the top of the seat. Other wise OK.

Hey Thomas, We'll take a stiffer strap and or bracket adjustment into consideration for future product design iterations and upgrades. Appreciate the feedback! -Matt Homes Customer Service Manager BuiltRight Industries
Sum ting wong
Well Sir I was really looking forward to it but after installation I couldn’t pull it up to release the seat. I took it apart and reassembled it and the same thing happened. I gave it to a co worker and he tried it with the same result and informed me he threw it away. I’m sure there was some little something or even shoulder to holder lol anyways I saw your description and demonstration and have no doubt it’s a great product. I wish I had thought of it myself.

Easy peasy
I viewed the videos, followed the simple steps and it works perfectly!
Rear seat release kit
Great product, easy to install. I installed one on my 2019 F150 and one on my 2024 F250. One suggestion that I have is to make the pull strap about 4 inches longer so that I wraps over the top of the seat and is easier to find when you need it. Thank you
Rear seat release
It shipped fast and was extremely easy to install.
seat release
easy to install and did exactly what i needed
Just a hair longer
Seems solid. Install easy after watching video. My factory latch mechanism still needs breaking in. Strap could be just a little longer as mine kept falling behind. Ties some cord to headrest to keep in place.

Hey Thomas, We appreciate that feedback, we'll take it under consideration. In regards to the latch needing breaking in, check out the video below and pay close attention to the part about the rubber insert in the latch. A heat gun in that area goes a long ways! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M3nl_z7t4m0&t=35s -Matt Homes Customer Service Manager BuiltRight Industries
