Universal Traction Board Mounts Are Here!

These mounts were specifically designed for a need we identified in the off-road, overland and vehicle recovery sector. Many people use many different types of traction boards, and until now there hasn't been a properly universal mounting solution that can secure all of them. A lot of you guys have been keeping an eye out and asking questions throughout our entire development process (we love when y'all get curious and involved with our new products and R&D), and we're thrilled to finally be shipping these Universal Traction Board Mounts. 

This traction/recovery board mounting kit is comprised of the glass fiber-reinforced  composite nylon mounts and all the hardware you'll need to secure your boards to them - and the whole setup to your desired mounting face. We're seeing a lot of customers use these mounts to attach traction/recovery boards to their BuiltRight BAR system, roof rack crossbars (with some additional mounts we don't sell yet), bed caps, racks and more. 

The universal nature of our mounts allow you to secure them in a multitude of different locations, with a wide compatibility across different traction/recovery board brands. While other options on the market only provide single mounting locations/sizes, we've engineered our mounts with slots and versatile mounting features integrated, allowing you to secure your traction recovery boards wherever you need them, no matter the brand. While we do include all of the hardware you'll need to secure traction/recovery boards in your rig, we know that many of you already have a set of MAXTRAX boards and the specific mounting pins for them. We do too - so we wanted to make sure they're perfectly compatible with our mounts! Matt designed these mounts so the slot on the back face of the mount captures MAXTRAX-specific mounting pin nuts, allowing you to bolt up their quick release mounting pins with an adjustable crescent or 17mm wrench. The structure on the front face of the mount is designed to accept MAXTRAX-specific pins, and we also incorporated precise pin-mounting dimensions for most popular traction recovery board brands, molded directly onto the mount.

It's quick to operate MAXTRAX's specific mounting pins when you need access to your MAXTRAX boards... But they are significantly less economical than our hardware, and they don't come included with our sub-$100 Universal Traction Board Mounting Kit. Their mounting pins also only work with their MAXTRAX boards, due to the shape/profile of the mounting pin holes. Our hardware is much more straightforward, universal, easy to source and install - all while keeping the price point of our kit very reasonable.
