'BLOCK AND SLOT' Pattern
The term MOLLE has become a bit of a buzzword in recent years and many imitation products have latched onto it, simply cutting square or rectangles into their products. The BuiltRight 'Block and Slot' pattern offers slotted features, designed for use with common 1/4" mounting hardware in addition to correct MIL-SPEC MOLLE/PALS features. Finally, the BuiltRight MOLLE Nuts (sold separately) offer an additional mounting location with a 1/4-20 threaded hole for easy installation.

Each Bedside Rack Panel is manufactured using high-grade 1/8" thick steel plate and is CNC cut and formed for perfect fit every time. All panels are finished with a durable texture black powdercoat for a factory look and feel.

Your Bedside Rack System started as a 3D scan of multiple truck beds, in order to understand the manufacturing tolerances that Ford, GM, etc hold themselves to. We then use that data along with CAD files provided by our OEM partners to design parts that will fit your truck perfectly.
Finally, we test those parts using finite element analysis on the computer before sending them out to our network of product testers around the world. Real-world testing happens in Baja, on ranches and jobsites across the country and on the icy, salty roads from the Midwest to the Northeast.

Very basic and simple to install after watching the video online to do the install. Only issue was removed the cargo rail already installed so no need to install the "nuts". Trouble was the supplied bolts were a little to large for the stock nuts and immediately got tight and caused the nuts to just spin. Can tighten or remove them. Fortunately this only happened to driver's side first two nuts. used the original bolts from the cargo rail which tightened just fine. Now how to easily get the bolts out without having to disassemble and drill out or cut them out and use the supplied nuts.

Hey Robert, We supply two sets of nuts with the bedside rack kit. One that works with the OEM threaded inserts (like in your situation), they are just longer than the OEM bolts and match the metric threads. Should your vehicle not come with a rail system them we supply rivet nuts and bolts, but they are SAE so not interchangeable with the OEM threaded inserts, only the rivet nuts we provide. It sounds like you used the wrong bolts with your OEM metric threaded inserts. You will want to use an easy out to extract the broken bolts. If the threads in the OEM inserts have been damaged, then we recommend drilling them out and installing the ones we provide in the kit. Product is good and fits well easy to install. Only bad was they missed shipping date twice when I called they said they were short handed, I still did 2 trips without the bed sides. Customer service could be better.

I just installed the driver and passenger rear panels in my 2021 RAM 1500 Rebel. The install was straightforward and easy. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the kit included bolts that fit the manufacturer threaded inserts. I was planning a trip to the hardware store, and I didn't have to go! The panels also work just fine with my Dee Zee tie downs, which mount at the same OE rail points. I've already attached my 5 lb propane tank on the passenger side: it's very secure. I'm excited to outfit the rest of the panels.
