The first product we ever engineered, the Builtright Industries Rear seat release was made to make your life easier. It’s a simple solution to accessing the area behind the rear seat backs of your truck. Designed with an OEM-inspired nylon pull strap, releasing the rear seat latch is effortless. The bracket firmly holds the latch pull in place and also guides the strap towards the top of the seat for easy reaching. It works hard so you don’t have to.

Arrived on time. All parts accounted for. Watched your install video. Installed in minutes. Works great. Worries I had with the "hack" I was utilizing are now gone.

pull strap

shipping took time like all during covid, great product though. I would make the web strap about 4 - 6 inches longer for an easier grab.

It works

The bracket did not match the tab so I hammered it flat and made it fit. The nylon webbing is really light and flimsy so it does not stand up own. Thicker webbing would make it easier to grab and pull but this one gets the job done.

Hey David, If you had to modify the rear seat release and hammer the tab flat them you more than likely installed it underneath the OEM latch base. Its intended to be slid in form the side and sit on top of the OEM latch mechanism base plate. I'll pass the feedback on the thicker strap back to product development!
