This shovel is ready for anything. Brightly color to prevent loss on trail, the red head is cut with teeth and formed to provide strength and rigidity. It's then blasted and powdercoated for a bright red, durable finish. The handle is made from a solid fiberglass shaft and the head is permanently crimped to one end. Finally, the D-grip is made from a hard polymer without the use of soft rubber, which will break down and become sticky over time.
