United StatesOverall experience is great. The nylon strap is too short, I have to use a cable ties to hold the strap to the headrest so it doesn't fall behind the rear seat. All total it should be at least 3" longer, otherwise I have to dig it out from behind the rear seat.
Thanks for the feedback, Rile! We selected this length based on feedback from a handful of product testers years ago, but your suggestion doesn't fall on deaf ears. We'll have a chat about it internally and consider making an extended strap an option!
Finally, a dash mount that I feel will last the test of time! Been through 3 previous iterations with cheaper versions- Magnetic, adhesive, all 3 failed within a year and two were returned to Amazon within weeks. This mount, combined with RAM Amps balls and arm, and a ProClip USA phone holder is rock solid! Although the all-in cost of those parts is up there, in the long run I'll save money and most importantly, frustration, as my last mount failed half way through a 5000 mile road trip. Hardest part of installation was getting the speaker cover and tray clips to release without destroying anything, which is in no way a fault of the product, but some patience is required. Construction is sturdy, and nicely packaged and finished. Heavy duty and great quality, and fasteners that don't strip out the second you touch them with a phillips bit which is becoming a rarity these days!��
